Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari Announced

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor once again coming together after 'Bawaal', for Dharma Productions' upcoming film, titled 'Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari'. The love-story, touted to be a part of the 'Dulhania' franchise, will be produced by Karan Johar. Shashank Khaitan who earlier made 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' and 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' is helming this project. He has also directed Janhvi's debut film 'Dhadak'. 

Karan Johar along with Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan is producing this film. On Thursday, February 22, the official Instagram page of Dharma Productions shared an announcement about their forthcoming romantic comedy, 'Sunny Sansakri Ki Tulsi Kumari', "Your Sunny Sanskari is on his way to get his Tulsi Kumari! This love story wrapped with entertainment is coming to the big screens!#SunnySanskariKiTulsiKumari in cinemas, 18th April 2025 "

Earlier, reports were rife that the beloved ‘VARIA’ aka Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are not returning for Dulhania 3. Varun and Alia were seen in the blockbuster films Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania by Shashank Khaitan. However, it was said that Alia will not be returning to the franchise and Janhvi Kapoor was to fill her shoes in the third film. 

But, Karan Johar has come up with a new franchise. The announcement video introduces Varun and Janhvi’s character names set to a peppy song titled ‘Ishq Manzoor’. Varun will essay the titular role of Sunny Sanskari while Janhvi will portray Tulsi Kumari. Sunny Sansakri Ki Tulsi Kumari' will have its theatrical release on April 18, 2025.
