Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja 's latest outing 'Eagle' is getting closer to its release. The film is all set to hit the screens worldwide in Telugu and Hindi languages on 9th February. The team is currently promoting the film aggressively. They are indulging in several interviews, and promotional activities. The film's grand pre-release event was held on 4th February. 

Anupama Parameswaran and Kavya Thapar are playing as a female leads in 'Eagle'. During the pre-release event, Anupama Parameswaran tied Rakhi to director Karthik Ghattamaneni calling him as a brother. This comes as a surprise to many. But, the story behind her act is, during promotional interviews Anupama used to call Karthik as 'Annayya'.

Ravi Teja who is also present at the interviews asked Anupama, beautiful girls like her shouldn't use the word, 'Annayya'. This clip has become viral and it was played during the pre-release event. To clarify this, Anupama said, she shares a very good bond with Karthik as they both worked for four films together and right from the first film she used to call him 'Annayya'. She then tied Rakhi to Karthik onstage.

Karthik Ghattamaneni is a popular cinematographer who has worked for films like Premam, Krishnarjuna Yuddham, Chitralahari, Ninnu Kori, Karthikeya. He is making his directorial debut with Eagle. Eagle is simultaneously releasing in Hindi as Sahadev on 9th February. People Media Factory has bankrolled the project.
