Vijay Sethupathi Approached For Massive Multistarrer Ramayan

Currently, Director Nitesh Tiwari's Bollywood 'Ramayan' is one of the most-talked about projects all over India. After reports of Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash being roped in for the film which is planned to be made into a trilogy, an exciting news has been surfaced. It is being said that the makers has approached Vijay Sethupathi for the role of Vibishan, in the film.

Rumours are rife that the makers have already signed Ranbir Kapoor for the role of Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash as Ravan. However, there has been no official confirmation yet. Now reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi has been approached for the role of Vibhishan in Ramayan.

As per B-Town media, director Nitesh recently met Vijay and took him through the script and the world he’s looking to create. Vijay was impressed by the narration and the visuals planned. It is also being circulated that he has shown interest in the film. However, Vijay has not officially signed on yet, as financial details are still being worked out.

The rumoured cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi. The film, reportedly produced by Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra, is aiming for a Diwali 2025 release, and pre-production is said to be underway, although no official announcement has been made regarding the project and its lead cast.
