Shah Rukh Khan Jawan, Pathaan Nominated In International Stunt Awards

2023 can be termed as the resurrection year of Shahrukh Khan. He has delivered hat-trick hits among them two were huge blockbusters in the same year. Jawan and Pathaan which are high with adrenaline pumping action sequences has enthralled audience's with their stunning action set pieces. Now, it time for getting recognition and rewarded for all the hardwork both teams have put on in an International stage. 

The renowned Vulture's Stunt Awards has announced nominations for the year 2023 on Thursday. Pathaan and Jawan have bagged nominations along with Hollywood biggies like Keanu Reeves’ John Wick 4 and Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning. It's rare that Indian films compete with Hollywood films especially in action category. 

Pathaan, helmed by Siddharth Anand and also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in pivotal roles, got nominated for Best Aerial Stunt (the Jet-Pack Fight) and Best Overall Action Film. Atlee’s Directorial Jawan was nominated in three categories: Best Vehicular Stunt, Best Stunt in an Action Film (both for the highway chase sequence), and Best Overall Action Film.

Other movies which got nominated in the Best Overall Action Film category include Ballerina, Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, Extraction 2, Fist of the Condor, John Wick: Chapter 4, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One, Silent Night and Shin Kamen Rider. The final voting period is open now, and the winners will be announced on March 4.
