Guntur Kaaram Crosses Century In Two Days, Registers 127 Crores

Third outing in Superstar Mahesh Babu, Director Trivikram's combination, 'Guntur Kaaram' which was released on 12th January opened with mixed talk. But, the superstardom of Mahesh and brand Trivikram aided by the great advantage of Sankranthi is working in favour of the film. The film which is facing weak reviews and talk is still the primary preference for family audience this festival season. Thanks to the brand image of Mahesh and Trivikram among these sections. 

The film has collected Rs 94 Crores gross worldwide on ours first day registering all time highest in some areas and career best for Mahesh. It is also highest opener among regional films. On its second day, the film has further minted Rs 33 Crores gross and stand at Rs 127 Crores gross globally. As the festival started on Sunday, the film is expected to peak during these three to four days and even touch Rs 100 crore share mark.

The film has collected a share of Rs 13 crores on its second day taking its two days share close to Rs 65 Crores worldwide. The film is still halfway through to its deadline. To term 'Guntur Kaaram' as a Hit, it needs to collect Rs 130+ Crores share. Considering the festival three days, trade is expecting the film might have earn good numbers till Sunday. 

Guntur Kaaram is Trivikram and Mahesh Babu's third collaboration after Athadu and Khaleja. The action drama also stars Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Jayaram, Prakashraj, and Sunil.
