I can Say is part two is going to be bigger and meaner. Rather Rama hasn't finished. She's going to come out in all arms and guns”, Sriya Reddy told Bollywood Hungama. While she is basking in the compliments that are coming her way, the actress maintained that when initially Prashanth Neel approached her, she was not confident enough about pulling off such a character. “I was extremely nervous. Prashant had really high hopes on me. And when you are the main antagonist of the film, you have to deliver. And I was very worried whether I'll be able to deliver what he wanted and my own insecurities also came in. It was a complete mental turmoil that I was going through. But I'm glad I went through that because if I had not gone through that mental turmoil, that performance would not have come.”

Speaking about how everyone was confident about her character, Sriya Reddy maintained that everyone assured her that her character is going to receive several compliments. “Everybody who had worked on the film told me it's going to be different. Rather, I was going to kill it. Our writers, who have written the story, too kept telling me that you don't even have to be nervous. And everybody would ask me Why are you nervous? And I'm like, No, I can't! I don't know whether to trust Prashanth or not. But then, sometimes in life, you need to have faith in somebody. Right?”

Talking about making a comeback in Telugu industry after 16 years, Sriya also revealed that it wasn’t something that she had planning on doing. “Honestly, I didn't plan for it. And I never knew the end of 16 years would be a day, which I would see a result that I'm seeing today. But it was not a conscious decision. I just decided that I didn't want to do movies. I wasn't getting the kind of roles I wanted. And I was very particular in what I wanted to be a part of. And I knew I was not going to settle for anything less than the best. So, if I wasn't getting the best, I didn't want to be a part of films. And yeah, now looking back, I feel happy. Actually. I waited for those 16 years because with time and patience, many good things come out of that.”

Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, along with  in key roles. The film released in theatres in multiple languages on December 22nd and collected close to Rs 700 cross gross at the ticket windows,to date.
