Petitioner demands test on Lokesh Kanagaraj mental condition. A petition has been submitted to the Madurai bench of the High Court, urging a psychological evaluation of director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Filed by Raju Murugan from Madurai, this legal action seeks to impose a ban on his film "Leo" due to its alleged violent content and advocates for a psychological assessment of Kanagaraj.

The petition asserts that "Leo" predominantly showcases scenes that glorify violence, encompassing the use of weapons, religious symbols, and themes of drug use, as well as violence against women and children. It further accuses the film of portraying anti-social concepts such as riots, illegal activities, drug trafficking, the use of firearms, and the assertion that any crime is achievable with police assistance.

The petitioner argues that films with such content should undergo thorough scrutiny by the censorship board, and advocates for Lokesh Kanagaraj to undergo a comprehensive psychological evaluation. Additionally, the petition calls for an outright ban on "Leo" under Indian criminal law.

The case was presented before judges Krishnakumar and Vijayakumar, and due to the absence of Lokesh Kanagaraj's legal representatives, it was postponed.

In December, Lokesh announced a hiatus from social media, expressing gratitude for the support received for his debut presentation, "Fight Club," under his banner G Squad. He conveyed his decision to focus solely on his next project during this break, and extended appreciation to the audience for their continued support. Lokesh Kanagaraj concluded his statement with warm wishes, urging everyone to stay positive and ignore negativity.
