Thalapathy 68 Is Titled As The Greatest Of All Time

Vijay's next, Thalapathy 68has been making noise ever since it's annoucement. The film is being directed by Mnakatha, Maanaadu fame Venkat Prabhu while popular production house AGS Entertainments is bank-rolling it. There have been many updates regarding the project, but clearing all makers unveiled the first look along with the title of the film ahead of the New Year's Eve.

The film is officially titled as The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) calling it a Venkat Prabhu Hero, the first look features two Thalapathy Vijay characters walking off after a parachute landing, bumping fists with each other. One of the characters looks old while the other looks very young. Vijay looks super cool in the first look poster as the look of both his characters have been revealed.

The poster also has a tagline that reads, “Light can devour the darkness but darkness cannot consume the light.” The second look of 'GOAT' is reported to be unveiled tomorrow (Jan 1), and it's going to be a double treat for fans. Vijay handles a double role in it, one where he essays the part of a 19-year-old. Earlier this year, in September, the actor went to Los Angeles to get a 3D scan of his body for the film.

Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead opposite Vijay, while the other cast has Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, Mohan, Ajmal, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, and Aakash Aravindh among others in pivotal roles. Touted to be a time travel film, 'GOAT’ has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while the film's cinematography is handled by Siddhartha Nuni.
