Tripti Dimri shot to fame with Blockbuster 'Animal' and she has been everywhere ever since the film got released. Some might sense a strong PR work behind her sudden spike in popularity. On news that took everyone as surprise is her casting as a female lead in iconic 'Aashiqui' sequel opposite Karthik Aaryan. 

The original Aashiqui, released in 1990 and directed by Mahesh Bhatt, introduced Rahul Roy and Anu Agarwal, turning them into household names with its musical success. Then, Aashiqui 2, featuring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor and directed by Mohit Suri, released in 2013 and was also a musical sensation. Anurag Basu is set to helm Aashiqui 3.

Producer Denies Tripti Dimri's Casting In Aashiqui 3

Aashiqui Producer, Mukesh Bhatt strongly denies Tripti Dimri’s casting alongside Kartik Aaryan in his production, Aashiqui 3. He refutes the claim, emphasizing that casting decisions will not be made until the script and music are finalized.

Bhatt expresses frustration at false reports aiming to leverage the success of the Aashiqui franchise, adding, “This is unacceptable. I haven’t even had a meeting with this lady.” Mukesh Bhatt later clarified that Aashiqui 3’s production won’t commence until the music meets his approval.
