Rana Naidu Gets Highest Views Among Indian Titles On NetFlix

Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati's maiden OTT web series Rana Naidu was released on NetFlix on March 10th and it trended nationally for a long time on the platform. Meanwhile, the series directed by Suparn Verma and Karan Anshuman attained another great feat.

Netflix has revealed the January to June report for 2023 in terms of titles which have accrued the highest viewership. Rana Naidu is the only Indian title that has emerged as a placeholder in the top 400 list.

The series, according to Netflix’s ‘What We Watched’ engagement report, logged a total of 463 million viewing hours. Its global ranking is 336. The 10-episode series focuses on the dysfunctional relationship between a Bollywood fixer played by Rana Daggubati, and his out-of-jail father played by Venkatesh.

Rana Naidu is the Indian version of English series 'Ray Donovan'. It was under the scanner while it started streaming for its excessive cuss words and profanity. Many were shocked to see Venkatesh who has such a clean image in such a hardcore series. With the success the makers are gearing up for second season.
