The actor took to Instagram to share the news with his fans, posting a picture of his swollen leg resulting from an accidental collision with an iron rod.

Sharing a snapshot of his swollen leg with noticeable red marks, Varun captioned the photo, "Swollen shin banged it into an iron rod." This incident marks the second time this year that Varun has sustained an injury during the shoot for VD18. In August, he previously shared a photo on Instagram depicting a red wound on his left arm, which he incurred just a day after commencing the shoot.

Speaking about the film during an interaction with Pinkvilla, Varun described it as a "mass-action entertainer" with ample doses of entertainment, something he personally appreciates. He expressed his commitment to giving his all to the project.
