Sundeep Kishan Maayavan sequel gets a title. The sequel to Maayavan, now titled Maaya One, brings back Sundeep Kishan in the lead role. AK Entertainments, the film's production company, has revealed that Akansha Ranjan Kapoor of Guilty fame will make her Tamil debut as the female lead.

Director CV Kumar emphasizes that Maaya One is a direct sequel, unfolding in the same universe. The film is currently in production, aiming for completion in February or March. Kumar assures fans of the original that Maaya One will be filled with surprises to keep them excited.

The first look, unveiled last year, featured an astronaut navigating a supernatural dimension, and Santhosh Narayanan has taken on the role of composer. 

While details about the returning cast members remain undisclosed, the anticipation builds for a sequel that promises to captivate. Notably, CV Kumar himself has penned the script, succeeding the screenplay by filmmaker Nalan Kumarasamy in the 2017 film Maayavan.
