Vijay Sethupathi Son Surya Debut Film As Hero

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most loved actors in South Cinema. With Farzi and Jawan he became familiar with North audience too and is getting busy with Hindi films these days. Vijay Sethupathi does everything, as a hero, villain, character role and even as a transgender. He doesn't have any inhibitions in playing a character. That makes him most sought after actor in films as well as in OTT these days. 

Now, his son Surya Sethupathi is making his debut as a hero with a Tamil film. Surya acted as a child artist in a handful of films. His launch film titled 'Phoenix' launched with Pooja ceremony on November 24 at Chennai. The film marks the debut of Stunt Choreographer Anl Arasu as a director, who has worked with all top heroes of Tamil and Telugu cinema in the past few decades. 

Phoenix is produced by Rajalakshmi Arasakumar under Brave Man Pictures,  with music composed by Sam CS, cinematography by Velraj, and editing by Praveen KL. One can expect a full-blown out action from Anal Arasu, who is known for his brilliant work in films like Dabangg 3, Mersal, Bigil and recently Jawan.

Meanwhile, Surya is set to make a cameo appearance in Vetri Maaran’s Viduthalai 2, along with his father Vijay Sethupathi. The film is currently in progress. Vijay Sethupathi, next release is 'Merry Christmas', which has Kathirina Kaif in the female lead. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, The film will be released on January 12.
