Naga Chaitanya Debut Series, Dhootha, From Dec 1 On Prime

Naga Chaitanya's OTT debut with Amazon Prime Video's web series 'Dhootha' has been in the news for quite sometime. The series is directed by talented filmmaker Vikram K Kumar. Today the official announcement about its premiere date is out. The Telugu Original, Dhootha, billed to be a supernatural suspense-thriller will be streaming from December 1 on Prime Video.

Directed by Vikram K. Kumar, and produced by Sharrath Marar, under the banner of NorthStar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Dhootha marks the streaming debut of Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, playing the role of Sagar, an ambitious and successful journalist who finds himself engulfed by supernatural events that are at the nexus of many mysterious and gruesome deaths, and are now shadowing over his family.

The eight-episode series also features ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Prachi Desai playing pivotal roles. The thriller drama will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide on December 1. Dhootha is the latest addition to the Prime membership. 

As per makers, "Dhootha" is an atmospheric, supernatural thriller which is a tapestry of tension and mystery that holds viewers attention until the very end. Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Prachi Desai's performances are said to breathe life into the intricately layered and unpredictable narrative.
