Jagapathi Babu To Go Next Level With Salaar

All eyes are on Pan India Superstar Prabhas's Salaar Part 1 : Ceasefire which is slated to release on 22nd December. This and Prashanth Neel's directorial is one of the most prestigious projects which is due for its release. Huge bets are riding on this massive actioner and the film is surrounded with a lot of buzz.

Jagapathi Babu is known for playing versatile and antagonist roles. Ever since he has started his second innings with Legend where he locked horns with Nandamuri Balakrishna, Jagapathi Babu has become most sought after actor for star heroes as well as for directors. He played memorable roles as ruthless villain in Rangasthalam and Aravindha Sametha.

Jagapathi Babu About Salaar

Jagapathi Babu is playing a key role in Salaar. He will be seen in the character of Raja Mannar in the film. Few months ago he shocked everyone that he has only participated in five days of shoot for the film. He then stated that he doesn't ask a lot when it comes to passionate directors like Prasanth Neel and feels the excitement on the sets.

Now as entire shooting part of Salaar is completed, reportedly Jagapathi Babu's role came out well with an emotional angle to it.  Jagapathi Babu too tweeted that 'Salaar Will Take Him To Next League' indicating his strong role in the film. Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran will be playing as Varadharaja Mannar, the powerful antagonist who is capable of stopping Salaar. Reports suggest that he will be seen as Jagapathi Babu's son in the film. Shruti Hassan is the female lead in this film while Ravi Basrur is composing the music. Hombale Films are bankrolling this project.
