Get Ready For Vikram Thangalaan Release Update

Most talented Vikram's next is in Pa Ranjith's direction, titled 'Thangalaan'. It is one of the most hyped movies in recent times. The film features Malavika Mohanan and Parvathy in female lead roles. The shoot has been wrapped up mid this year. The film runs with Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) backdrop. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director. 

Today, on October 27, makers announced that they will be revealing the release date of the film today at 5 PM. As per reports the film is heading towards January release. As, Lal Salaam starring Rajinikanth in a special role and Sivakartikeyan' Ayalaan are locked to release for Sankranthi next year. So, Thangalaan which is expected to release for Pongal is said to moved to Republic day weekend. 

Thangalaan is a film based on true events. Set in Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka. The film is jointly written by Tamizh Prabha and Pa Ranjith. Apart from Vikram, Parvathy and Malavika Mohanan, the film also features Pasupathy, Hari Krishnan, Daniel Caltagirone, Preeti Karan and Vettai Muthukumar.

Vikram plays the head of an indigenous tribe and the film is said to be set in a colonial rule. This Pa Ranjith directorial deals with the issue of land as per reports. Vikram sustained an injury during rehearsals resulting in a broken rib due to which he took a break from the shoot for a short while earlier this year.
