Oh Sukumari OTT Rights Bagged By Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights of romantic comedy Oh Sukumari ahead of its theatrical release. The film will stream in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. Prime members can watch it at no extra cost, included in the standard subscription after its theatre run.
Made on a reported budget of ₹8-10 crore, Oh Sukumari needs around ₹16 crore theatrical gross to break even. Starring Thiruveer and Aishwarya Rajesh, the film explores love through an unconventional marriage bureau setup. Early buzz calls the premise fresh and rooted in small-town humor.
Directed by debutant Bharath Darshan, Oh Sukumari hits cinemas on July 17 release. The CBFC gave it a U/A certificate with a runtime of 2 hours 12 minutes. The film is produced by Maheshwara Reddy Mooli under Ganga Entertainments with music by Bharath Manchiraju.
Supporting cast includes Jhansi, Amani, Muralidhar Goud and Vishnu Oi. The pre-sold OTT deal gives Oh Sukumari financial cushion and visibility. With positive word of mouth, the romantic comedy could perform well in Tier-2 centers and later drive strong streaming numbers on Prime Video.
