Three member panel on Vijayawada floods

Hyderabad, Aug 26 :

 Chief  Minister  Dr Y  S Rajasekhara reddy on Wednesday constituted a three-member panel to study and suggest steps to  tackle the flood situation arising  out of river  Budameru system.

The Chief  Minister who was reviewing the  flood situation in Vijayawada in the day suggested the constitution of the panel Vijaywada Municipal Commissioner Prem Chand, Irrigation Department  EMC BNN Reddy and Survey and Settlement Commissioner  Shivshankar.

The panel will be conducting a study and submit its report to the Government in three days for suggesting a long-term solution to  nagging  Budameru water-logged  drainage system affecting the city.
