YS and Rosaiah should observe norms in the House

  Chief  Minister  Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy and  Finance  Minister  K Rosaiah  should stick to their  time  and  go by  the  rules of the  House  if the  discussions  are to  continue  in the Assembly without  wasting any time, this is the opinion expressed by  Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday  Speaking in the  assembly on the   norms   to be  observed in House  he said   the debate on certain issues  should  go to the full extent  till  all the members are satisfied  with the Government’s reply  on any  particular issue.  If possible  we can even extend the  assembly time.  The House should have valuable  discussions  pertaining to the  issues  in the state.

Refuting  to Chandrababu’s  comments on  following the  norms in the  House , Legislative affairs  Minister  K Rosaiah  said that  the House will not  run as for Chandrababu’s  wishes.  The House is  being  conducted as per the assembly norms . During his speech in the assembly some of the opposition members  try to distract  the concentration with their  running  commentaries, this is a very bad  practice , he averred.  ``Any way past is past  let us try to  run the  House  smoothly without  wasting   the precious time,’’ he  quipped.    

All members should observe norms:-

Speaking on the charges and counter charges made  by TDP  chief and Rosaiah against  each other  on following the norms in the  assembly, Speaker Kiran Kumar Reddy expressed his view that  not only the Chief Minister, Rosaiah and Chandrababu Naidu should observe the norms in the House but all the members of the House should observe the norms . Only then we can run the  House smoothly, he added. It is difficult for me to tell about  20-30 times for a member to sit down, thy should know their responsibility and act decently.

Holding meeting in the assembly precincts is causing a lot of inconvenience to the traffic so they can hold  their  meetings in their respective chambers. The PAC will be convened on Thursday to discuss the norms to be observed in the house by the members, he further added.
