There’s huge controversy over the way Telangana state is conducting Corona tests. Opposition parties and others claim that, the state is conducting very fewer tests. Nonetheless, the state government is in no mood to go for rapid tests.
As per the bulletin released by the health ministry, Telangana recorded 15 new COVID-19 cases till date with 12 cases in GHMC area and the other 3 are actually migrant workers from other states. The total positive cases of Coronavirus in the state stands at 1122, while 29 people have died and 693 people have discharged/recovered. The active cases in Telangana as on date are 400.
Warangal (Rural), Yadadri and Wanaparthy have registered no single COVID-19 positive case till date. Besides these, Peddapalli, Nagarkurnool, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Siddipet and Mahabubabad are in green zones.
For the last couple of weeks, a total of 22 districts, including the 9 districts in green zones, recorded zero new cases. Here’s the list of 22 districts:
