Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on Friday advised the State health department officials to cover the retired employees of the state unde the Arogyashree scheme.
The CM reviewed a meeting of the state Arogyashree panel at the secretariat on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, he said that some more diseases will be brought under the umbrella of Arogyashree so that many people will be benefitted in the state.
YSR asked Chief Secretary P. Ramakanth Reddy to hold talks with employee unions in the state so that good medical schemes would be drawn up to cater to the needs of the state Government employees.
He further added that by November 1 this year eleven dialysis units will be established in government hospitals in the State. These units will be set up in collaboration with public and private organizations.
