Hyderabad, Jan 13: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Wednesday requested V S Achuthanandan, Chief Minister of Kerala to make arrangements for the transportation of the bodies of 12 Sabarimala pilgrims who died in the Kannamala accident on Tuesday.The Chief Minister during the telephonic conversation with his counterpart in Kerala, asked him to provide good medical care for the injured in the Kannamala accident.
The injured are being treated at Government Medical College hospital, Kottayam.Expressing shock over the death of 12 Sabariala pilgrims from Andhra, the Kerala CM assured Rosaiah of all the possible help from his side in providing relief to all the injured victims.As reported earlier,12 Sabarimala pilgrims from Krishna district were killed when the lorry in which they were travelling overturned after hitting a wall at the Kannamala cause way on Tuesday at 7.30 p.m.
