Hyderabad,Nov 30 : The winter session of the Andhra Pradesh state legislative Assembly will commence from December 7 and last till December 13.This was disclosed to the media after the cabinet meeting at the secretariat here on Monday under the leadership of K Rosaiah.According to the cabinet sources, Congress Legislature Party leader K Rosaiah will leave for Delhi on December 2 or 3 before the commencement of Winter session.Rosaiah,referring to the Telangana issue said that the Congress party is not against separate Telanagana but would abide by the decision of Sonia Gandhi.
The Telangana issue is a delicate issue and TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao should not make it a controversial issue.The cabinet appealed to KCR not to provoke the students in the issue of Telangana.The 16-day Winter Session of the State Legislative Assembly beginning on December 6 is likely to witness heated arguments,as the Oppostion is grinding axes to attack the Government on the Obulapuram mining issue.The opposition will try to rake up contentious issue of alleged irregularities in Indiramma housing scheme, “tardy” relief measures for flood victims,law and order situation in the wake of the Telangana agitation.
