Barclays opens branch in Hyderabad

Hyderabad,Nov 18: Barclays Global Retail Banking (GRB) which has branches at Mumbai,New Delhi,Junagadh (near Rajkot),Kanchipuram,Nelamangala (near Bengaluru),opened its first branch at Banjara Hills, Road No 12 here.
Interim managing director of the Bank,Ram Gopal said the Bank’s seventh branch at Hyderabad  would reinforce the commitment of the Bank which offers its customers 6 per cent interest on term deposits called Special Barclay deposits even for a 99-day term.Customers in Hyderabad would also be able to avail services like Barclays Premier,loan portfolios including its Drop Down Feature that rewards customers for punctual payment of EMIs (equal monthly instalments).

The Bank will also introduce a mortgage products scheme for the customers of Hyderabad,Ram Gopal promised.The GRB business has built a strong franchise base in India over the past three years with over 900,000 clients and customers.Barclays customers can enjoy Net Banking, Mobile Banking through the Barclays’ Hello Money services and credit cards among other services,it is learnt.Customers interested to transact with the Bank can call Leila Bilimoria,over +912267196484.
