Hyderabad, Oct 27: Taking a serious note on the Mydhukuru incident, where the management of St Joseph English Medium School, Kadapa district, made students to stand outside the classrooms with a slate hanging around their necks stating ‘I will not speak in Telugu’, the state government on Tuesday ordered for probe into the incident.Talking to media persons, Minister for Primary education D Manikya Vara Prasad stated that the government would take action against the management of school based on the report.

If the management was found involved in the incident, recognition of school would be cancelled immediately, he made it clear.He said if teachers found guilty, the government would ask the management of school to dismiss those school teachers from service.However, the school management has apologized on behalf of its teachers who were involved in the incident. This incident highlights the commercialization of education and parents motivating their children to learn English forcibly.
