Hyderabad,Oct 27: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (Acb) on Tuesday conducted simultaneous raids on the residence and relatives houses of Akula Suri Babu, who was worked as Deputy Executive Engineer, Srisailam, at Gudivalkapur in Hyderabad, Eluru, Nidadovulu and Tadepallegudem and unearthed assets to the tune of Rs 2 crores.The Acb officials conducted simultaneous raids on the home and his relatives’ houses in the morning hours. In the searches that continued till evening, the Acb sleuths unearthed Rs two crore worth assets.

His riches included houses, flats, jewellery, bank balance and other documents. Acb official Sampath Kumar said that the officials are yet to open lockers of Suri Babu.The Acb sleuths conducted raids on Suri Babu house following complaints that he amassed assets disproportionate to the known sources of income.A disproportionate assets case has been registered against Suri Babu.
