Sai Ram gets admission in Osmania medical college

Hyderabad, July 23:-

The ninth rank holder of Eamcet 2009, K Sai Ram, who denied admission as he was not completed 17 years of age as on December 12, 2009, has allotted seat in Osmania Medical College.

During the counselling held at JNTU College, he was allotted seat in Osmania medical college. The counseling officials checked his all certificates and allotted seat in Osmania Medical college.

The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday allowed the medical counselling of K Sai Ram, who was denied admission as he was not ‘old enough’ to take up the medicine course.

According to Medical Council of India (MCI) norms, any candidate taking admission for MBBS Ist year this academic year should have completed 17 years of age as on December 12, 2009.

However, the court observed that his admission is based on court’s final verdict.
