Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana on Monday called upon party workers to fight against those forces, which are blocking the development of the state.
Talking to media persons after unfurling tri-colour at Gandhi Bhavan to mark Independence Day celebrations, the PCC chief exhorted the party workers to fight against those vested elements, which are obstructing the development of the state. Recalling the sacrifices of freedom fighters, Botsa Satyanarayana said the nation should not forget the sacrifices and follow their ideals. He appealed to party workers to protect the freedom from vested elements and take the government schemes and development programmes to the doorsteps of beneficiaries.
Stating the party and government as `two eyes’ to Pradesh Congress Committee, Botsa Satyanarayana stated that the development of state was his top most priority.
In the programme, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Legislative Council Chairman Dr A Chakrapani, Ministers Danam Nagender and Mukesh Goud, former government advisor K V P Ramachandra Rao, party senior leaders and others participated.
