Acb Raids: The Anti-Corruption Buearu (ACB) officials conducted simulanous raids on the residence of the sub-registrar, Mr Yagnam Naraynana, and seized assets worth crores of rupees. An ACB press release here said that the sleuths seized Rs 20 lakh in cash and documents of properties worth over Rs 10 crore. The raids were conduted in his Vijayawada, Guntur and Eluru residences.
Mr Narayana was working as the sub-registrar in Patamata of Vijayawada city and was shifted from there to Kautuvaram in Krishna district recently. He, however, did no join duties in his new assignment even after three months of his posting. On complaints that he has accumulated properties disproportionate to his known sources of income, the ACB officials conducted the raids and seized the properties, the release added.
