Popular actor Rajnikanth was on Friday admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after he complained of dizziness, according to reports reaching here. The doctors in the hospital reportedly stated that the superstar’s blood pressure had shot up and there was no danger to his life.
A statement was also released by the hospital in which the doctors said that there was no danger to the actor’s life. The popular actor was advised to take complete rest for one week. According to reports reaching here, Rajnikanth is likely to be discharged by Saturday evening.
Incidentally, filming for the 60-year-old actor’s film ‘Rana’ was due to begin on Friday. The actor is believed to be essaying the roles of three characters in this film. This would be first major film after the blockbuster hit ‘The Robot’. The film will also start Bollywood starlet Deepika Padukone.
