Praising 'Robot' - Insulting Tollywood

Not a ne w phenomena but veterans in the field like Tammareddy Bharadwaja and successful writer like Chinni Krishna have spit venom of criticism on Tollywood again praising ‘Robot’and Shankar on one side and insulting the existing technicians and artists in Tollywood on other side.

This was during a special show on ‘Robot’ and Shankar in a regional news channel that Chinni Krishna has explained the reasons why our Telugu film industry is not coming up with concepts like ‘Robot’.

‘95% of our Producers doesn’t know what a SCRIPT is while 90% of our so called Heroes don’t what it requires to make a different movie. When everybody is thinking about least risk, how can ‘Robot’ kind of movies come up in our industry? 

It is a pity situation that, our Producers are doubtful on spending Rs.30 Crores for a direct Telugu movie while get ready for buying the dubbing rights of a Tamil movie for the same figure. They rely more on our neighbor’s talent than our own.’

Tammareddy stood by the words of Chinni Krishna but warned him not to speak facts in front of the media.
