Anchor Turned Actress Swathi Marriage Is On The Rocks

Swathi can be considered as the first gen star Anchor in Telugu Television. After the inception of Telugu channels in 90's Udaya Bhanu, Jhansi, Anita Chowdary were popular anchors in TV. When MAA TV entered television in 2000's and brought revolution with many trendy programs. Among such programs, Colors talk show became very popular because of its talkative teen girl Swathi. Since then she became popular as Colors Swathi. She became actress in films and got married. Latest news is her marriage is on the rocks. 

Swathi debuted as actress in films with Krishna Vamsi' directorial Danger and became popular with her role in Venkatesh' Aadu Vaari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule. She then moved to Tamil did some films among them Subrahmanyapuram became a superhit and earned her popularity. She even won Nandi Award for Ashta Chemma which marks the debut of Hero Nani.

Swathi became popular with Swamy Ra Ra and Karthikeya films. In 2018, Swathi married Malayali pilot Vikas Vasu and both of them settled in Thailand. She took a break from films after marriage and was seen only in a Malayalam film Thrissur Pooram. Latest news is Swathi is heading for a divorce and she hinted about it by deleting her husband's photos from her Instagram profile. 

A similar rumour about her was surfaced when she deleted her husband's pics from Insta a couple of years ago too. But, Swathi cleared the air by saying that those were archived in her phone and even posted a video of her photos along with her husband. But, this time there is no word from Swathi about this ongoing news. It has become a norm that before announcing seperation, celebrities deleting their better halves pictures from their social media profiles. 

Similar pattern was seen in Samantha and Niharika Konidela's divorce announcements. Now Swathi also followed same path. She was recently seen in Panchatantram and is doing Month Of Madhu co-starring Naveen Chandra. Reports suggest she is currently living in Hyderabad signing new projects while her husband Vikas is at Thailand.
