Custody not the first title

Custody not the preferred title. Naga Chaitanya is coming to entertain movie lovers with his bilingual entertainer Custody directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film is set for a grand release on 12 May 2023. The makers are promoting the film and now speaking to scribes, director Venkat Prabhu shared a surprising thing.

He said Custody is not the preferred title for the project. He said during the title discussion, he suggested the name of Shiva for the film title. He said however Naga Chaitanya was not very keen and he told him that he cannot risk the film having the title Shiva. He said Shiva is a classic and a cult movie cannot dare to go with this name.

He said thus they zeroed in on Custody. He said he narrated the Custody story only to Naga Chaitanya and Chaitu accepted it. The film's trailer will be released on 5 May 2023.

The film stars Kriti Shetty as the female lead. Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are the music director while the film features Arvind Sami,Priyamani, Sampath Raj, Premji, Vennela Kishore, and Premi Vishwanath in important roles.
