Samantha Shaakuntakam Business Prospects

Samantha's much talked about film Shaakuntalam which is made as a pan India Film and release in multiple languages on April 14th. Without turning a week at many places the film got replaced by Virupaksha. As Virupaksha got super hit talk, it will be an impossible uphill task for Shaakuntalam to rake in some collections.

The film Produced and Directed by Guna Sekhar along with Dil Raju has invested 65 cores on the film. The film manages to fetch Rs 45 crores from non theatrical rights. So, to emerge as a clean winner the film needs to collect Rs 20 Crores share. Whereas, the film is struggling t the boxoffice. It only manage to fetch Rs  5 crores so far. So, Shaakuntalam made RS 15 crores loss for the producers.

The film needs another Rs 15 crores from Theatrical collections which is noe highly impossible as the Dil. Is being removed all over. So, Shaakuntalam is declared as an epic disaster. This will surely dwnr the stardom of Samantha. Shaakuntalam co-stars Dev Mohan and Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha made her subut in the film.

Meanwhile we can expect that the film will surely appear of OTT in a very short period. Samantha is currently working for Kushi with Vijay deverakonda and Citadel web series with Varun Dhawan.
