Samantha startling revelations about her flower allergy

Samantha on Shaakuntalam and flower allergy. Samantha is promoting her film Shaakuntalam based on epic Mahabharat across the country ahead of its release on 14 April 2023 in an extensive manner. Samantha speaking to scribes, revealed the startling facts on her flower allergy.

It is known that Samantha wore floral ornaments for her role as Shakuntala in the film. Sharing her ordeal,  "I shot all day without any complaints, and then in the evening, the imprint of the flower was all over my arm. I had a flower tattoo on my arm for six months. I thought it was permanent because no one was able to fix it. I would put makeup on top. Eventually, it went away.”

She continued saying that she shot along with real rabbits. Samantha however added that they are not cute in real and revealed that they bit her.  Speaking about her lehangas, she added "So Neeta Lulla ma’am had made some of the most beautiful costumes for Shaakuntalam. There was this song where I had to wear a beautiful lehenga. She had kept the dancing in mind and hence made some lehengas lighter and some heavier, like 30 kg kinda heavy. But what was meant to be for the song, didn’t really happen, and I ended up wearing a 30 kg lehenga for the dance.”

The film directed by Gunasekhar stars Dev Mohan in the lead with Mani Sharma scoring the music.
