Small Film Turning Tables In Kollywood

Pradeep Ranganathan is not a familiar name. One can identify him when we say he is the director of Jayam Ravi, Kajal Agarwal starrer Comali. This 2019 film which marks the debut of Pradeep as a director is praised for its unique plot and scored a superhit at the boxoffice. 

Pradeep for his second film chose Love Today and decided to make his debut as Hero also. AGS Entertainment bankrolled the film. Once the trailer git released, Love Today gained attention from the audience. It was released on November 5th and opened to rave reviews for its fresh take on love and modern relationships with a comic flavour. It has turned out to be an instant attraction for film lovers especially for young audiences. 

Post COVID, Kollywood has been witnessing crowd for big budget and big heroes films only. But, small film with a new hero, Love Today is turning the tables. Theatres are witnessing heavy crowd for the film. It has already crossed Rs 10 Crores gross mark in its first two days. On Sunday the film is expected to collect huge numbers compared to day 1 & 2. Pradeep Ranganathan, Ivana, Sathyaraj, Radhika Saratkumar and Yogi Babu played main roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music.
