T-20 World Cup: India through to semis

Team India officially entered the semi-finals of the T-20 world cup today irrespective of the result of its final match against Zimbabwe. The shock defeat of South Africa against minnows Netherlands early morning gave a new lease of life for India's arch-rivals Pakistan and the other team Bangladesh. Had South Africa won the match, South Africa would have topped the Group with India joining it into the semi-finals.

But South Africa failed to chase down the target of 158/4 imposed by the Netherlands and ended its innings at 145/8. South Africa lost its way after being 90/3 with the Netherlands playing their lives out. Now the match against Pakistan vs Bangladesh is a knockout for both the teams and depending on the run rate, India will either play New Zealand or England in the semi-finals.

Indian cricket fans are celebrating the news and they are praying that India will win the WorldCup and do the country proud.
