Many are under the impression that experience counts and so top stars always prefer experienced filmmakers compared to the new entrants. But of late, it seems experience is taking a nose dive. The recent incidents is showing that experience is coming to nothing in the film industry.
Raghavendra Rao for example came up with the sequel to his classic PellisandaD. He named the sequel creatively PellisandaD but the film turned out to be a disaster. Dil Raju is known for his judgment and experience. But he tasted disasters in form of Jersey Hindi version, V, Jaanu, Rowdy Boys, Thank You, etc.
MS.Raju is also another experienced filmmaker. But he failed to set screens on fire with his recent releases Dirty Hari, 7 Days 6 Nights etc. The same is the case with KS. Ramarao failed with World Famous Lover, Tej I Love You, etc. Even Chiranjeevi is failing to judge with his experience. He failed with Acharya and his Godfather is struggling to reach breakeven.
