Vijay Devarakonda's Liger had an extravagant release on August 25, 2022. While the film was released in all languages on August 25, 2022, the film's Hindi version was released on August 26, for an inexplicable reason. According to the latest, the film created a storm with record collections on the first day in North. The collections are helped by the paid premiers. The film collected 5.50 crs and is getting good collections despite the negative reviews.

Liger's collections are better than Ranveer’s Jayeshbhai Jordaar which could manage an opening of only Rs 3.25 crore. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa was not received as well as Liger has been welcomed by the cine-goers in the Hindi-speaking belt. Pushpa earned Rs 3.33 cr. on its opening day.

However, the road ahead is difficult since the film got huge negative talk not only from the critics but also from the movie lovers. The film starred Ananya Pandey and Mike Tyson in important roles under the direction of Puri Jagannath.
