National award: Will Telugu girl fate change?

Entire Tollywood celebrated this year's National Film Awards as Colour Photo won the best feature film award, Thaman won the best music director award for Ala Vaikunthapuramlo and Naatyam won the best choreography award. In the midst of all this, speculation is on will Colour Photo sensation power Talented Telugu girl to stardom.

It is known that Tollywood makers conveniently ignore the Telugu actresses and rope in other language heroines though the former can perform better than them. The same was the case with Chandini Chowdhary. She got the looks and talent to reach the next level of stardom. She is confined to playing inconsequential roles and even the film Color Photo in which she played the lead role along with Suhas under the direction of Sandeep Raj got negative reviews.

Chandini Chowdhary starred in Kiran Abbavaram's Sammathame. Her performance is lauded but the film got negative reviews. The question is will the makers cast Chandini Chowdhary in important roles and will the Color Photo sensation at the National Level change anything at the ground level for her or it will be the same case, only time will tell.
