Right after the sensation of Rajamouli's Baahubali, everyone started talking about Pan India entertainers. Till that time, no one spoke about that world. Now following the sensation of Icon Star Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rise, Sandalwood Star Yash's KGF2 and Rajamouli's RRR with Young Tiger NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan, almost everyone started talking about Pan India entertainers.

This is making one feel that the filmmakers, stars, and producers are experiencing pan-India pressures and getting burdened with it. Hindi films used to release across the country and till recently even films with an average budget used to be made with good quality. Bollywood makers used to boast of the market across the country. But with the sensation of Baahubali, RRR, KGF, and Pushpa, Bollywood is facing criticism from all quarters.

Analysts like Karan Johar and Taran Adarsh felt that with the OTT revolution the makers are not bothering about quality and are under the impression that they can come up with whatever stuff they think of. Shankar conquered the Bollywood market with films like Robot and 2.0 and showed how to use the technology and VFX. Of late Not only Bollywood now Kollywood is failing to come up with films of high standards. Maniratnam is coming with Ponniyan Selvan 1 and Kollywood like Bollywood is experiencing pan-India pressures.

But getting Pan India stories and powerful plots is not that easy. Even Yash, NTR, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun cannot find strong Pan India stories all the time. Prabhas who after attaining Pan India stardom with Baahubali and faced reverses with Saaho and Radhe Shyam echoes the same. He says it is difficult to get a story that can entertain all sections of people across the country. We are just taking baby steps. Koratala Shiva says our films can go to any stage and cross borders and we write stories with the aspiration that people across the world enjoy but penning stories keeping Pan India aspiration in mind is dangerous. It has to be seen how the makers balance Pan India pressures and powerful stories.
