Popular musician Bappi Lahari passed away leaving movie lovers across the country in tears. 69-year-old Bappi Lahari passed away at the CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai on Tuesday night due to multiple health problems. Dr Deepak Namjoshi, speaking to scribes revealing the cause of Bappi Lahari's demise said "Lahiri had been admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday.

But his health deteriorated on Tuesday and his family called for a doctor to visit their home. He was brought to the hospital. He had multiple health issues," and added, "He died due to OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) shortly before midnight."Bappi Lahari born as Alokesh Lahari on 27th November 1952, shot to fame with blockbuster and foot-tapping songs for hit films like 'Chalte Chalte', 'Disco Dancer', and 'Sharaabi'. Bappi Lahari's last song was"Bhankas" for Bhaagi 3 in 2020.

Bappi Lahari even scored super hit songs in Telugu, most notable being Super Star Krishna's Simhaasanam and Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Gang Leader.
