The makers who at first planned to cast Samyuktha Menon or Nivetha Pethuraj as the second lead decided to rope in Pelli Sanda D beauty Sree Leela as the craze for her among youngsters is increasing with every passing second. Sree Leela at first did not show interest as second heroines in Trivikram's films do not get much screen presence.

In order to convince Sree Leela, Trivikram decided to increase the screen presence for her and also include a song for Sree Leela with Mahesh Babu. This thrilled Sree Leela who is now supercharged to do the role. Inside talk is yesteryear heroine Radha and Bollywood actor Suneil Shetty will be seen in pivotal roles and Thaman is the music director.
