Poor Jagan Reddy! He Felt Employees Alpasanthoshulu!

Like never before, lakhs of village volunteers were appointed in Andhra Pradesh by the AP government. Their salaries/honorariums were clocked at Rs.5000 per head. 

Like never before, the AP government established the village and ward secretariats and recruited lakhs of  staff. Their salaries were confirmed at Rs.15000 per head. 

The motive behind Jagan Reddy recruiting these lakhs of personnel is crystal clear. He wants to make use of them as the YSRCP workers in the process of electioneering. 

In the meanwhile, after a series of protests, Jagan Reddy announced the new PRC for the employees. He thought the employees would celebrate a festival with the pay hike announced by him. But then, nothing of that sort happened. On the contrary, the employees triggered a huge rebellion against the Jagan Reddy government. What went wrong with Jagan Reddy's decision?

Since village volunteers and the secretarial staff are discharging their duties with quite low salaries, Jagan Reddy thought that even the employees and the teachers would also be satisfied  for sanctioning the long time pending DAs which made sure the salaries are not reduced though the fitment is decreased like never before. 

However, employees are aware of the fact that their twenty years of hard work and dedication made them become government employees. They cracked the toughest competitive examinations and were recruited as government employees. Obviously, they proved themselves they were more talented than the employees of many other sectors including the low salaried staff mentioned above. Why should they sacrifice their share of salaries for the sake of the government's schemes and welfare programmes? As they are skilled and experienced, they should be respected with better pay packages which is what the tech companies are doing now. 

Poor Jagan Reddy is not aware if this basic fact as he is drawing the ire of the employees.
