The rise in covid cases across the country is forcing various state Governments to impose strict restrictions. According to the latest, the Andhra Pradesh Government imposed new rules for theatres in the state starting from tomorrow. The Government announced a night curfew and 50% occupancy in theatres with immediate effect. The night curfew starts from 11 PM to 5 AM starting from tomorrow.

The AP Government's decision will have a severe impact on the upcoming film releases slated for the Sankranti festival. It has to be seen how the makers of the upcoming films react to the new rules in the state. The question is will the makers go ahead with the films release in spite of the restrictions or will they change their release plans.
