There has been a lot of unrest and intolerance within the YSRCP at the moment. Since the anti-incumbency has been gripped with the party in the state and is projected by some media houses, the YCP leaders are openly exhibiting their anger towards them.

Minister Kodali Nani proclaimed the ban of ETV, ABN and TV5 news channels and the newspapers Eenadu and Andhrajyothi. He alleged that the media houses had taken an anti-YCP stand. Meanwhile, the minister made it clear that no minister nor MLA would take part in the interviews and other programmes conducted by above media houses.

Nani's decision, however, rubbed the wrong side of the media lovers and the political analysts. If the YCP bans ETV and ABN now, Sakshi and TV9 will be banned by the new government in 2024. It's going to be a 'Tit for Tat' exercise," says a political analyst.
