Sparks fly on social media:AP Ministers vs Maverick Director

The reduction of ticket rates in theatres in Andhra Pradesh left many exhibitors at losses and while many shut down their theatres, few of them approached the AP High Court against the AP government's decision. Though they got interim relief from the High Court, they faced witch-hunting from the government officials in form of raids, which forced the exhibitors to close many theatres in the state.

AP Minister Perni Nani often went on record that the government headed by CM Jagan Mohan Reddy will ensure everything for the benefit of Tollywood and requested Tollywood to come with constructive suggestions. However, his words did not meet his actions. In the midst of all this maverick director, Ram Gopal Varma launched a blistering attack on the AP government and pointed out the loopholes in the government's intentions mentioning the facts.

Perni Nani countered him and in the end as he missed out on many logics and lost out on the debate, In between Kodali Nani entered and came with the illogical post “The so-called heroes, producers and directors are making their films in neighboring Telugu state. They are even commenting from Hyderabad and it’s none of our business. People of AP have voted for YCP and we are here to serve them. Our CM reduced the ticket prices in the best interest of the common man,”

Ram Gopal Varma then came with a sensational parting shot which left everyone shocked. He posted “Somebody by name Kodali Nani countered my video on movie ticket prices in AP and people are asking me to reply to him. But the fact is I have no clue who Kodali Nani is and I only know Natural star Nani. To those, I seriously don’t know Kodali Nani,”. It is known that RGV thus gave a fitting reply to AP Ministers Perni Nani and Kodali Nani who attacked Natural Star Nani when he took on the government ahead of his film Shyam Singha Roy's release.
