Radhe Shyam takes RRR route: postponed indefinitely

The dreaded coronavirus new variant Omicron is fast spreading at alarming proportions scaring all. In the midst of all this the makers of Prabhas' Radhe Shyam decided to take Rajamouli's RRR route. They decided to postpone the film release scheduled for January 14, 2022, as a Sankranti special indefinitely. They have taken the decision with the rise in Omicron cases and with various states imposing night curfews, closing theatres, or introducing 50% occupancy. Official announcement is expected to come in couple of days. 

Prabhas' Radhe Shyam is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar of Jil fame and is a period entertainer in which Prabhas is seen romancing Pooja Hegde. Omicron thus snapped Radhe Shyam after RRR. The sudden turn of events is disappointing movie lovers as they are robbed of a powerful Sankranti blast from RRR and Radhe Shyam.

Radhe Shyam makers revealed that they will come with a new release date once things return to normalcy. The film starred Krishnam Raju, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Bhagyashree, Sasha Chetri, and Flora Jacob in important roles.
