Pushpa lands in trouble

In the midst of all this, AP foresters found fault with the Pushpa storyline. Speaking to scribes, AP forest officials objected to the portrayal of sandalwood smuggling as something heroic in the film and said this will mislead youth to resort to sandalwood smuggling finding it heroic.

Tirupati-based Central Red Sanders Depot divisional forest officer K.Ashok Kumar speaking to scribes said “I overheard some local youngsters talking about film Pushpa depicting smuggling of red sanders in a heroic way. I am afraid the film is sending a wrong message to youth.”
