Karan Johar on Allu Arjun, NTR,Ram Charan and Prabhas

Karan Johar is known as a top producer in Bollywood and he has been following the box office trends across the country and in Bollywood. It is known that Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rise, stunned all with the massive openings. The Hindi version of Pushpa -The Rise despite lack of promotions got Rs3crs on the opening day and continued its dream run and is nearing Rs 50crs collections. He said Rs 3crs on the opening day may not be big but added that Bollywood films did not even make that amount after the covid pandemic.

Karan Johar speaking about Pushpa said Allu Arjun achieved the impossible as he became a known star across the country as his films got dubbed and aired in various Hindi channels. He said this helped in Pushpa The Rise getting good collections though the film was not promoted.

He said RRR will get around Rs 30crs on the opening day with the Hindi version and added that though NTR and Ram Charan are not known in Hindi belt, Rajamouli's name itself will pull the people to the theatres. He said pan India definition was changed and elevated with Rajamouli's Baahubali with Prabhas. He said though Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, NTR, Prabhas are not known, as their films got dubbed in Hindi and screened on small screen, they had immense fan following and cited how many fans thronged his office when Prabhas came to meet him during Baahubali promotions.
